Bringing authentic Italian cuisine to the heart of West Lakeview, Sal’s Trattoria is a family-friendly neighborhood restaurant. It is the combined vision of Partner Joseph Arnold, Manager/Partner Preston Owen and Chef/Partner Allen Sternweiler, who also own and operate the acclaimed Butcher & the Burger in Chicago’s Lincoln Park.

Chef Sternweiler, among the city’s most respected culinary leaders, pays homage to classic Italian fare on Sal’s well-rounded menu, serving house made antipasti, salads, pastas, entrees and more. The restaurant is open for dinner six days a week (closed Mondays), providing a charming dining experience for both the surrounding neighborhood and all those who appreciate a finely prepared Italian meal.

Reservations

We are accepting reservations for the Dining Room only.  Seating on our patio is on a first come first serve basis, however requests for dining on the patio are accepted and will be accommodated if at all possible.

Reservations are highly recommended and in the interest of fairness we ask that all guests limit their dining to 90 minutes until we are back to 100% capacity.
